Brendan Dempsey “Never anything less than hilarious” BBC Online In 1998 Brendan co-starred in the hit comedy Waking Ned (voted Best Comedy by the New York film critics circle), performed in the sketch show Couched for RTE, and the live stand up show So You Think You’re Irish 2 for ITV.
He played the full season at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as the Kilkenny Cat Laughs, and MURPHY’S Ungagged festivals in Kinsale and Cork City. Brendan rounded off his excellent year with a ten day tour of the States plating in New York, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco. “The star of the show” Hong Kong TV & Entertainment Times Brendan’s film and television work includes Separation Anxiety, Braveheart, Moll Flanders, Father Ted (Xmas Special), GAS (C4), The End (RTE), and the short film My Dinner with Oswald. Since his 1991 debut, his stand up has been seen by audiences in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway, London, Hong Kong and Toronto.
